How To Freeze Your Cuts of Meat

by TAG Editor

We did a few tests on freezing choice cuts of flesh. Having freezer burn on a rib eye or magret or center cut loin is nothing but a drag.

1) The most important thing is buy freezer plastic bags. It has thicker plastic and also make sure that it's a zipper bag. Wrap cuts individually.

2) Squeeze all the air out of the bags as you zip them shut. This will prevent freezer burn and preserve flavor and color better.

3) Make sure your freezer is set at extra cold. This ensures that items you freeze will form smaller crystals meaning the frozen meat will maintain its texture better.
