Science: Medieval, Visionary Biormorphic Armor from the Bottom of the Ocean

The scaly-foot gastropod was discovered nearly a decade ago living in a hydrothermal vent field in the Indian Ocean.  It's armor structure is unlike any other known mollusk or any other known natural armor and can be applied to human use.
