Introduction from the Erudite & Reclusive

It often is hard to verbalize or write what is a purely sensory and emotional response to world stimuli. Case in point:
  • I'm thinking of some comfort sweet tooth - Apple Ginger Crisp. There is a buttery crunch followed by a the a gooey, tangy richness of apples touched with the aroma of ginger and lemon zest. It's so easy to make, you almost don't need a recipe, just a good sense of proportion and ease. Led by the apples of summer, I can imagine biting into it, the texture of the crust followed by softness of the amalgamated flavors. Yummy.
That, above, in a small nutshell, is how this Armchair Gourmet thinks the majority of the time, dissecting everything like a scientist, with the attentiveness of a horticulturalist, and the ginzu sharpness of a gourmand's palette.

I will begin manifesting all these inner workings onto digital paper from now on, and in that regard, carry out gourmet experiments in the real world, unliked my academic counterpart, the classic armchair theorist.
